Restorative Dentistry Options AVAILABLE IN WEST VALLEY CITY
Fillings
Teeth that have cavities must be treated and filled to restore function and shape and to prevent further decay. Fillings are a comprehensive dentistry option that can also repair cracks and broken teeth.
Inlays and Onlays
If you require more extensive restoration than a filling can offer, inlays and onlays may be a better restorative option. Inlays fit within the ridges of the biting surface of a molar, while onlays cover one or more cusps and can extend down the side of a tooth.
Crowns
If a tooth has been damaged and can't be fixed with a filling, inlay, or onlay, a dental crown can cap the tooth. This kind of dental work can restore a tooth and protect what's left of it.
Bridges
Dental bridges are a restorative dentistry option that can replace a row of teeth. We offer both traditional bridges, which can typically restore up to four missing teeth, and implant-supported bridges, which can replace a longer stretch of missing teeth. Our West Valley City dentists can custom-design your dental bridge and create it with durability in mind.
Dentures
If you're missing all or most of your teeth on one or both of your dental arches, a denture can return your ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence. Our office offers traditional, hybrid, and implant-supported dentures. For people who lack the bone density for traditional implant-supported dentures we also offer All-on-4® implant-supported dentures.
Dental Implants
Dental implants replace tooth roots in the jaw to prevent jawbone atrophy and support restorations like crowns, bridges, and dentures. We offer traditional and mini implants in addition to All-on-4 denture implants. Our dentists can also perform bone grafts and sinus lifts to improve candidacy for dental implants.

View on GoogleI have been going to Dr. Mackay for over 20 years. I went to his father and now him. He is the only dentist that I trust. If you have a really hurt/aching tooth he is extremely careful not to hurt you and if you have any complications he'll get you in right away. I'm very appreciative of him and his staff and love the new updated West Valley location. I recommend Dr. Mackay!
